A POEM FOR A SISTER

As a sister, you are the best
Not because you are the eldest
But because you’re an angel sent from up above
Whose heart is filled with so much kindness and love.

When our parents are not around
You’re there for us without making any sound
You are always ready to fill their absence
By making us feel the warmth of your presence.

You taught us to be humane and live in simplicity
Honestly earn a living and spend our money wisely
And you also remind us to always value and see
The importance of living a life with dignity and integrity.

Even if you already have your own family
You’re still looking after for our welfare and safety
You just want us to have an active mind and a healthy body
And keep doing good to make our parents proud and happy.
